This guide walks you through how to move candidates from JobAdder onto your Referral Talent Board. As long as the candidate has a CV attached, the process is quick and easy, with multiple ways to create and publish a candidate advert.

Step 1: Confirm the Candidate Has a CV

Before creating a candidate advert, ensure the candidate record in JobAdder includes a CV or resume. This file is required for the AI-generated candidate advert.

Open the candidate profile in JobAdder
Confirm a CV or resume file is attached
Preview the file to ensure accuracy

Notes: If no CV is attached, you will not be able to generate a candidate advert. Upload or request a CV before proceeding.

Step 2: Create a Candidate Advert from JobAdder

Option A: From the Candidate Record

Open the candidate profile
Select Actions → Refari → Create Candidate Advert
Use the side drawer to continue

Option B: From the Candidate List (Recommended)

Select the checkbox next to the candidate
Choose Actions → Refari → Create Candidate Advert
Select the Referral brand or account

Ideas: The list view provides more screen space, making it easier to review and edit the candidate advert before publishing.

Step 3: Generate the Candidate Advert Using AI

Use the AI Generate Candidate Advert feature to automatically create a professional candidate profile using the attached CV.

Click AI Generate Candidate Advert
Select and preview the CV file
Review the AI prompt used for generation

Notes: Use the default AI prompt on your first attempt. Review the output before customizing prompts for future adverts.

Step 4: Review and Edit Candidate Details

Preferred locations
Salary range (optional)
Role and work type
Skills management

Step 5: Request Candidate Verification

You can request verification from the candidate to confirm authenticity and accuracy of the AI-generated profile.

Notes: Verification helps maintain trust and accuracy when using AI-generated content.

Step 6: Save or Publish the Candidate Advert

Save as Draft for internal review
Save and Publish to post immediately

Step 7: View the Candidate on the Talent Board

Once published, the candidate advert appears on your Talent Board under Find Talent. Candidate names in brackets are only visible to recruiters.

Notes: Candidate names are hidden from clients and candidates and only visible to logged-in recruiters.
